Journey to the Blood Stained Home - Page 25 Empty Re: Journey to the Blood Stained Home

Charna stretched boredly, searching for a bored face among the crowd of many. Her gleaming eyes found the female that had captivated Derek's attention. She made her way over to her (Elysia) and smiled warmly. "Hey there," she greeted the grey wolf. She tail wagged happily. Not only was she taking care of her own boredom, but she was also meeting others of the pack. Feeling rather accomplished, Charna sat, holding her friendly smile with a tweak of triumph.

Kanae slightly moved away when the other wolf appeared. This one was also female; Kanae stopped in place.

"Hello," she greeted the other wolf.

Sunlight shone onto the ground and the warmth felt good on her paws. It was such a beautiful day; Kanae breathed in deeply. Her body slowly grew less tense and she relaxed completely within moments.

"Why would wolves do that ?" His head tilted clock-wise slightly. His bent ear twitched slightly and slowly took a step forward, using his muzzle to nudge her head back up. Then lowered onto the ground, this time closer then before.

Falco looked around and got to his paws. The tainted white male padded solemly through the forest. With a shake of his rough coat he gave a light sneeze, sending shivers down his spine. The hunter tracked along and caught up to the pack. With that he sat to the side and watched, anticipating what was to happen next. He looked around the pack and watched the other members for a moment, curling his tail around his paws.

Elysia had watched Kanae as she broke away from a male, glancing her way with little interest. Elysia's interest only grew as Kanae's path led distinctly towards herself. Elysia shuffled her paws slightly nervously, looking around for Derek - the only other wolf she actually knew. She didnt see him and so settled her gaze on the approaching female. There were a multitude of wolves milling around, chatting, belonging. Then there were a few outsiders, like herself. Elysia wasnt sure if the female walking towards her was an old pack member or a new one, but she was one and in a way, that was enough.

Elysia dipped her head in greeting, her ears twitching as she looked the female up and down. The other female's voice was soft and gentle, as if she was speaking to a frightened pup or an injured robin. Elysia wasn't sure why, perhaps the female just spoke in that manner. Elysia was alone, true, a loner by nature. She was grieved by the recent discovery of her dear sister's death. She was slightly uncomfortable, but she was not afraid. She looked Kanae steadily in the eyes. "Good Afternoon," Elysia spoke, trying to put the same calm tranquil formality into her words and tone as Pallatsera always had. "I don't beleive we've had the fortune of meeting. My name is Elysia." She smiled a small smile to Kanae, her ears twitching as she heard the approach of a second set of pawsteps.

A second, darker colored female had approached herself and Kanae. This second female sat, waves of triumph flowing off of her though Elysia wasnt sure why. She dipped her head in reply to the second female's greeting. She had introduced herself, and would most likely a second time, but waited patiently for either female to make a reply.

Aceline felt a small nudge under her chin, her gaze met Insomnia. Why would wolves do that? The question, Aceline did not want to answer. Her eyes still locked onto Insomnia, she spoke in a quiet sad tone"Wolves do not like me" she said with a small frown. She tried her best to cover up her frown but only making it worse as thoughts raced into her mind. Her breath becoming heavy as now memories and thoughts swarmed into her mind.

Charna smiled to the other female who was there. She looked to the one she had approached. "If I remember correctly, you said your name was Elysia?" though she was asking this, she had a feeling that she was right. She had heard it when Derek had greeted her. Charna looked at Elysia. They were polar opposites, which made her a tad bit nervous, but all the more eager to befriend her.

Looking to the other female, Kanae, Charna smiled once more. "Hello to you, too," she greeted friendrily. She didn't feel quite so triumphant now, curiously. Things here are rather lively, she thought with a happy air. Lively home made for a magnificent multitude of good times.

Maiara paused before she began her reply, that she and Derek would be fine, seeing Mahina approach Rune. She could tell before the female had begun speaking that she intended to relate the story of how she ended up staying away for so long. Although she had not been invited into the conversation, she felt it her right to know. If Mahina was uncomfortable with it then she would leave perhaps, but just as Rune needed to know, she did as well. She followed behind the two, sitting calmly beside Rune: her presence quiet and buisnesslike, not meaning to interrupt, but not entirely unnoticed. She listened silently as Mahina began her tale and argued her side, that her family came first, and Rune countered with his point that the pack was her family. And although she didn't speak, thoughts formed around the two arguments. If she ever discovered that her brother was in trouble, of course she would come to his aid. But never without the pack knowing where she was. But even so, a grim fact came to her mind: even if her brother needed help, if it had even the slightest potential to harm the pack, she would side with the banishing winds. Maybe it would be different if she knew where her brother was at the moment, or if they had lived together longer. Maybe she woukld think differently if her parents had survived that terrible flood so long ago. But having lost her birth family years ago, she couldn't fathom having any other home or family than her pack. All her loyalties were with these wolves here, and nowhere else. And so she was silent.

    |Silver padded into the resting area the pack had been in, her thoughts confirmed at the abandoned clearing. She took a deep breath through her nose, taking in the scents of all her pack members. They weren't too far off, maybe another thirty minutes?

She turned around and flitted into the trees. Loping along to the beat of the tune she had made up in her mind, the small song rang through her mind like the chiming of bells. The songs of a bird, a calm whistle and perfect tone. Slowly; lyrics developed in her mind. But it seemed it was not her song, she had not entirely made it... She had passed by a human camp. Such funny beings, but such nice music. Two children had bounced around their parents, and Silver had stayed hidden, watching with a dim smile.

    "Who says you’re not perfect?
Who says you’re not worth it?
Who says you’re the only one that’s hurting?
    Trust me!
    That’s the price of beauty!
    Who says you’re not pretty?
    Who says you’re not beautiful?
    Who says?"

She sang, loping to the beat of the song. As she finished the song, her voice still echoing through the forest, she stepped into the clearing of her pack, slowing after skipping once and trotting to a stop. Seeming to glow with joy, she dipped her head in greeting to the pack. Then, once again, it hit her. Her joy flickered and vanished. Her Mother, no matter what, would always be gone from now on.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Elysia," Kanae spoke in a warm tone. "I am known as Archangel."

She used the human name for her rather than her true name because she didn't wish for anyone to know her, not yet. It was bad enough that Ninja knew who she was; she wasn't about to mess up again. To these wolves, she was Archangel, the fighter.

With these two she-wolves close to her, she felt slightly unnerved. However, she could handle at least one more wolf before her shutting down sequence would rear its ugly head. Despite always being like this, Kanae did not truly understand why her body did this. When she was younger, she always went with more than five wolves but for some odd reason three was too much for her to handle now.

Kanae looked between both wolves, her ears lowered. Her chocolate coloured hues did not betray her inner turmoil, but deep within she was feeling scared. So many questions fluttered around in her cranium: What if these wolves didn't like her? What if she wasn't holding herself correctly and they were offended?

Taking a deep, yet not overly noticeable breath she tried to calm her nerves.

He suddenly gave a shy smile "Well I like you." His tone was the opposite of her's, having a more playful vibe to it, compared to before. Tilting his head back to look at her normally, his ear touched the side of his face. Instantly the male's eyes followed to the area before frowning "Darn thing"

Elysia looked between the two wolves. One had introduced herself as Archangel, the white female. The other had simply said hello and repeated Elysia's own name which didnt do much to assist Elysia. Elysia shifted her paws, keeping her tail curled tightly around her paws as a form of comfort. Elysia took a moment to look both she-wolves up and down silently, observing them and looking for any bits and peices of information she might be able to gather.

The one who had introduced herself as Archangel. Firstly, her very name. It was unusual. All names were unusual, different and original. But Archangel, that just stood out from the rest. It almost didnt seem...wolfish. Elysia's ears flicked pensively. Besides that, the female appeared nervous - though of what, Elysia couldn't tell. Elysia's interest was piqued and she reminded herself to take time to get to know Archangel, and perhaps the story behind her name.

Elysia's gaze shifted to the other female, the one who had yet to introduce herself. She had dark fur, a contrast to Archangel. Where Archangel was a light white, Charna was much darker. Elysia felt almost like an inbetween stage. Charna had approached with a certain confidence, triumph, but it seemed to have faded now. Curious.

Elysia dipped her head to both, unsure of who to adress first. She decided it would be best to adress both. "It's a pleasure to make your aquaintances. Am I correct in assuming you are recent additions to this pack?" She had found that newbies often tended to stick together, form their own friendships. Perhaps that was happening here, though Elysia would have liked to get to know some of the other members. Her eyes flicked to the male who had approached with the alpha (Soran). Especially him.

Charna watched while Elysia semed to study them. "I am called Charna," she informed them simply. Her eyes followed Elysia's gaze, but sh failed to find her subject - or subjects - of interest. There was Rune and another male, but that seemed to be the only thing that would draw attention. Charna's ears perked up. The two were remarkably similar. Charna refocused her attention on the wolves there at hand. Elysia was a greyish colour. The triad of them; one white, one grey, and one dark, it was amusing.

"I just joined today," Kanae replied. She looked towards Charna. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Charna."

She sat completely upright, her stance now showing that she was relaxing. Her plumy tail was carefully draped around her paws. Despite being a pristine white, the heat was slowly beginning to get to her. The extreme length of her fur contributed to this. Even though it was summer, her fur was unusually long and thick. It was almost unbearable in the winter time when the snow would stick to her coat and weigh her down.

Dark chocolate brown eyes strayed between the two she-wolves before her. They both seemed nice enough. Perhaps they would become friends? Kanae did not have the answer to this question, only time would tell. Her chocolate brown hues became full of confidence. These wolves were apart of the Banishing Winds Pack, as was she.

"How are you both today?" Kanae asked them both, her left ear twitched quickly as a small bug buzzed around her.

He continued to stand up, still slightly tense as he knew there were other wolves around. "Do you?" his ear threw its self forward, and tilted his head slightly. He had heard from others it made him like almost yearling like. "I wonder when we are going to be moving"

Elysia's ears flicked as a slow smile spread across her lips. She dipped her head to Charna, acknowleding her name. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you Charna." Elysia turned to Archangel as she mentioned having been accepted that very day. Elysia felt a pressure released, releived to not be the only new member to approach the pack that day. Her eyes flicked between Archangel and Charna, occasionally straying to the alpha and the other male. She noticed that the two males (Rune and Soran) resembled each other clearly. She wondered if they were related, perhaps brothers? Then again, the more grayish one (Rune) looked older than the brown one (Soran). Perhaps they were father and son? It was a possibility, but then that raised another question. Who was the mother?

Elysia looked again to Archangel. How had her day been? Honestly it was kind of awful. She approached a pack, looking for Versitha. An old loner had pointed her in the direction of this pack. She had come only to be greeted by longing and sorrowful looks. Then she had found out that this was the pack not of Versitha, but her beloved elder sister Pallatsera. And that Pallatsera had died - with her pups - not months earlier. And that Pallatsera had been and alpha, and had had a mate, and was obviously well loved. But she was gone and Elysia was too late. Waves of fresh grief washed over her, though she attempted to keep her mask of tranquility in tact.

She looked to her paws brielfy, then back up. She shrugged her shoulders, appearing nonchalant. She liked Archangel and Charna, but she didnt know them. Derek was different. He was...connect to her through a common bond. She shifted her paws again. "Rather uneventful actually, neither here nor there." She did her best to keep her voice even and neutral.

"Rather uneventful actually, neither here nor there." She did her best to keep her voice even and neutral.

Kanae nodded though she had noticed the slight hesitation in Elysia's words. That, paired with the shift of the she-wolf's paws told Kanae that the wolf was lying or attempting to mask how terrible her day had been. However, Kanae did not say anything, rather she nodded.

Ninja's scent came to her on the breeze; she breathed in deeply. He smelled of the forest and a wildness that she couldn't explain. It was next to impossible for her to remain by the two wolves, but she managed to stay. Though her dark chocolate eyes looked around for the handsome brute.

"When did you join, Elysia?" Kanae asked distractedly.
